The town of Wake Forest, North Carolina, is located less than ten miles north of Raleigh, and is close to I-540 and Highway 1, providing easy access to the Research Triangle area at large. At thirty-five thousand residents and growing (it’s one of the fastest-growing Raleigh suburbs), Wake Forest is small enough to give residents a sense of community, while still providing abundant conveniences. Plus, Wake Forest is served by the Wake County school system, offering families multiple great choices.

If you love a walkable, thriving downtown, you’ll enjoy heart of Wake Forest, which is always bustling with shopping, art, entertainment, local vendors, and dining (including its own brewery), plus a popular year-round farmer’s market. Not far from downtown, you’ll also find The Factory, a family-friendly, multi-use mall, featuring shopping and dining in addition to sports facilities such as ice rinks, soccer fields, dance studios, a skateboard park, and more--planned to keep families from running from activity to activity, and instead offering a spot in which to do it all.

Founded in the early 1800s, modern-day residents of Wake Forest can now tour the educational Wake Forest Historical Museum, as well as admire multiple listings on the National Register of Historic Places, some of which feature historic homes. And if you decide you need a break from town life, the 30,000-acre Falls Lake Recreation Area awaits with all the excitement and tranquility of the great outdoors. Or, explore E. Carroll Joyner Park, a historic park featuring restored farm buildings, a pecan grove, gardens, and three miles of paved walking trails.

Whether you’re looking for entertainment, activities, or history, Wake Forest has something for everyone. To see more details on homes in Wake Forest, and to view a list of all neighborhoods with available homes, consult the information below.
