Fuquay-Varina is located eighteen miles southwest of Raleigh, North Carolina, and is home to about nineteen thousand residents. A rapidly growing town, Fuquay-Varina has doubled in size in the past ten years, and is expected to expand to a population of thirty-five thousand by 2020. Close to Highways 55 and 401, as well as I-540, Fuquay-Varina offers easy access to Research Triangle Park and the surrounding area. 


Actually made up of two towns that come together as one, Fuquay-Varina offers residents some unique features, including two downtowns. Between the two, shopping, entertainment, and dining options abound. Plus, an outdoor market showcases local goods throughout the summer and fall. The town is also well known for its many breweries. 


Families will love Fuquay-Varina’s array of community events, including an Easter Egg Hunt and the Downtown Bounty Festival. The town of Fuquay-Varina also manages hundreds of acres of parks. Two such parks, Falcon Park and Carroll Howard Johnson Environmental Education Park, offer nature views, walking trails, and recreational activities.
