Sunset Lake in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, is an established community with three distinct neighborhoods known as Southside, Village, and Estates. Located in southwest Wake County near U.S. 1, U.S. 401, and Highway 55, this community is sixteen miles from downtown Raleigh, and provides easy access to the rest of the Research Triangle.

Sunset Lake has long been a place to find rest and relaxation. Nearly a hundred years ago, a group of families formed the Sunset Lake Sportsman Club and built a lodge to enjoy the natural surroundings. Nowadays, residents have access to a long list of amenities, including a restored lodge now functioning as the clubhouse and overlooking the lake for which the community is named—plus, a boardwalk, boathouse, and plentiful walking trails. Multiple shopping centers, including Sunset Lake Commons, can be found nearby, as well as great schools. Plus, the charming downtowns of Fuquay-Varina and Holly Springs are just a few miles away.
